Hello, I’m Monica. I’m a Project Manager at Primate. I deal with pretty much all our projects to some capacity, whether it be managing them fully or running our team schedule. I enjoy organising our workflow and keeping everything ticking over smoothly.
The most challenging aspect of my job is balancing day-to-day requests with larger on-going projects. Agency life can be fast paced and combining short-term flexibility with long-term planning isn’t always easy. I love the spirit of our team, though, and I’m proud of the way they approach their work. They’re always positive and accommodating, something that makes my life a lot easier!
My dream as a child was to be an astronaut which I guess says a lot about my aspirational attitude. I’m constantly wanting to better myself and be the best that I can. It’s one of the reasons I love working at Primate - I can work in a trusting environment that gives me the room to grow and improve myself.
My specialism is organisation and oversight. I run the team schedule and plan all our projects and maintenance. I like to stay on top of every project and know everything that’s going on!
An experienced hostage negotiator, this Dusky Leaf Monkey works with the Malaysian police department to resolve the most deadly and vicious hostage situations.
After freeing dozens of hostages on her first assignment by shooting the culprit point blank in the face with a double-barreled shotgun named Blasty McBlastface, Monica renounced all weapons. Vowing to end each negotiation peacefully, she has since freed over a thousand captives with zero casualties.
Cool, calm, collected, and highly organised, this Dusky Leaf Monkey still find herself subconsciously reaching for Blasty on occasion.
